New St John Missionary Baptist Church has been in Ocala, Florida, for more than 80 years, and has been under the same leadership for over 36 years. We believe that God ordained his children in order to have dominion over all Earth and subdue it, as is written in Genesis 1:28.

As disciples, Jesus has anointed us to preach the gospel and deliverance to the captives. He taught us that we can heal the brokenhearted, recover sight to the blind, and to set at liberty them that are bruised. Our Church hopes to reach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. These are all taught in Luke 4:18 and Matthew 28:19.

Lead by Rev. Dr. T.L. Brooks, Sr., we strive to spread the teachings of God and continue to make a positive difference in the lives of those in our surrounding community.
